You are never too young or too old to fix your eating habits. Our members range from 18 to 80+. Contact us to learn more about our youth discount!

Not at all. We help a wide variety of men, some coming in with the goal of losing 15lbs. and others with the goal of losing 150+lbs. It’s good to address poor eating habits and unhealthy behaviours before they get worse. 

You definitely can! Harvey Brooker members who have health issues find that they greatly improve when following our program, and often reduce and/or get off of their medications (Please always consult a doctor before making any changes to your medications). Whether you want to get rid of, improve, or prevent obesity-related health issues, having a healthy diet is extremely important.

About the memberships

The Harvey Brooker program cost varies according on length and membership format. Memberships can be covered by OHIP or most insurance plans depending on your situation, and out of pocket it costs no more than a cup of coffee a day.

Addressing excess weight will save you money long-term by keeping you away from doctors, surgery, medications, and long-term disability. Investing in your health pays off.

Our weekly in-person meetings take place in our office located at 3701 Chesswood Drive, near Dufferin St. and Sheppard Ave. These meetings include live weigh-ins.Our weekly virtual meetings are done live via ZOOM and members weigh themselves at home.

In-person memberships allow you to join both in-person and virtual meetings. Virtual memberships only give you access to our live Zoom meetings.

Many members have seen success both in person and virtually. Depending on your preference and availability, choose which option best suits you!

Our staff is overseen by certified nutrition and weight loss coaches, and our plan is overseen by an Ontario Registered Dietitian. All of our coaches have followed our program for over 10 years and have lost weight themselves through the Harvey Brooker program! No better way to learn than from someone who has walked a mile in your shoes.

The Harvey Brooker Weight Loss for Men program offers a free pass to our meetings because we want you to meet the men who are losing weight with us and to see how successful our program is.

Our program focuses mostly on improving your eating habits and supporting you through your weight loss journey. However, exercise and physical activity are extremely important and are often talked about in our program. We provide several different levels of at-home workout videos created specifically for our program!

Everybody is different. We focus on long-term success by helping you develop eating habits that are realistic and sustainable. We are not a restrictive weight-loss program, and you will never go hungry. Members lose 2-3lbs. every week!

A lot of diets starve you, causing you to rapidly lose weight. However, this weight loss never lasts and you always end up back to where you started or worse.

Attending weekly meetings is a key component of our program and it will get you to lose weight. It builds consistency, and accountability, and allows us to make sure you’re staying on track week after week. 

For your convenience, we offer three meetings a week, both online and in-person to best fit your schedule. Meeting recordings are also posted to our members-only site if you’re unable to attend one of the live meetings. We contact members who miss meetings regularly to ensure the program works for them. 

Absolutely. Members often express that their entire household begins to make healthier eating choices after they’ve joined our program, and even lose weight themselves. Set a healthy precedent and lead by example!

Meeting with a coach 1-to-1 is not required and many members achieve success by solely attending group meetings. However, the 1-to-1 support can be extremely useful in the development of a personalized plan based on your needs, as well as potentially including important people in your life who are supporting you through your weight-loss journey.

In-person meetings are held every Tuesday night, running from 7 to 8 pm at 3701 Chesswood Drive, North York.

Our live virtual meetings are held every Sunday Morning from 10-11 am and Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 pm.

About the food

20/20 stands for 20/20 vision; the clear vision for a healthier future. We provide you with a large list of foods broken down so you can see exactly what you should and should not eat. It is a non-restrictive, sustainable program focused on making the right food choices. Learn proper proportion control by a unit system we’ve developed rather than the basic, non-sustainable method of counting calories.

While on the 20/20 healthy eating plan, you’ll be eating lean healthy proteins, whole grain carbs and starches, healthy fats, fruit, vegetables, dairy, and more.

Not at all! Cooking on the Harvey Brooker program is easy and simple. You will learn how to cook and prepare meals through our program. Members are given a large variety of resources including shopping guides, recipes and daily food planners. Copy them exactly, or use them as inspiration. Many of our members have zero cooking experience, and find themselves becoming great chefs during their time here!
